How far is this place from taoyuan airport?

What was the highlight of City Suites - Beimen

Good

Room is clean and location is good. There are convenience shops outside the hotel, and many eateries nearby. There are many shops selling handicraft and the prices are reasonable, near the hotel. There is a I-Mei speciality shop about 5 min walk from the hotel.

The room is very small. I had a 25" luggage and not able to fully open my luggage. I have to move the chair when I opened my luggage every night. Even so, there is hardly any walking area. I am not suppose to dispose the toilet paper in the toilet bowl so I have to request for housekeeping every day as I am concern of the air quality in the room. I can hear people walking passed my room, and talking loudly almost every night.

Good place to stay, near to Beimen and Ximen.

Location was fantastic - straight-line walk down to Dihua Street on the one end and on the other end, you can walk straight to Beimen Station or alternatively, to Ximending. Rooms were decently comfortable. I like that the shower room and toilet rooms are segregated from each other.

Rooms are a little small, but this is typical for boutique Taipei hotels.

It was a pleasant stay albeit the small room

No breakfast. Location was superb and very convenient to subway and even the airport.

Room was too small, even for an average sized couple. It was difficult to open the suitcase.

Overall a good stay and will book the same hotel again if I’m back in Taipei

The hotel is really accessible to the nearest mrt station (Beimen), about 3 mins walk and there is 7-11 right beside the hotel. It’s pretty near to Ningxia night market which is about approx 10mins walk away. There are 3 pin plugs available right beside the bed, hence, adapter plug is not required. Coffee machine is available at the hotel lobby so you can have complimentary drinks daily.

The pillow is way too soft. Would be perfect to have a thicker pillow. No bidet available in the toilet if it’s necessary for you.

Although room was compact it had all we needed. Everything was clean and well looked after.

Highly recommended hotel if you visit Taipei

Very comfortable and modern room, very effective housekeeping. Perfect location in the city center. High quality equipments (bed, shower) and great little ammenities such as a delicious tea.

The temperature sensor did not work properly so the aircon was always blowing too cold (or I had to turn it off completely, and then it was too hot). The wifi is not so great. More space to hang clothes would be nice.

Really Convenient and peaceful stay!

Love the convenience of this hotel. Really near Taipei Main Station which makes coming and going to Taoyuan Airport easy, with minimal lugging of our luggages. The staff there are all very kind and check in process is swift with self checkout machines! There’s a themed 7-11 right beside which makes it really convenient getting snacks and drinks!

Little to no facilities. Room was adequate however lacks a wardrobe. Not enough hangers and nowhere to hang clothes. Bed lacks a side table on 1 side.

Small yet clean room at good location

The location is good. The staff was helpful. The room is small but quite well designed. The room and facilities were generally clean. The hotel has a coffee/chocolate machine near the front desk where guests can make their own free hot drinks.

The room is so small we could not fully open our suitcase. Sound proofing was also not very good as we could here the door closing and water running sound from other rooms.

Good location with modern facilities but check in process needs improvements

Good location, in close proximity to Beimen station and a convenience store just located beside the hotel. Facilities were modern and comfortable with a strong internet connection. Hotel staff were mostly friendly and polite with the exception of the staff on duty during our arrival.

Upon early arrival to provide our details and drop our bags off, we were surprised at how aloof the staff on duty was. When we came back at the check in time, the staff was with other guests so we waited at the side. He waved us away and told us to do our own check in through the available computers which required either our name, email or booking number. We encountered error messages upon every try. Another staff walking by saw our frustrations and came over to help. He encountered the same error messages as well and had to amend the details in their system. If the self check in was supposed to help to ease the process, we certainly did not feel that way since it took thrice as long to check in.
